Apostasy and the End Time Church - A Prophetic Look

Apostasy, or the turning away from faith in Jesus is what the Bible describes when talking about the End Times church.

Many believe most of Europe is in a "post church" era, the Asian Pacific nations are either atheists or muslim and the western church is characterized by impotent, apathetic congregants focused on prosperity.

Has the love for Jesus grown cold? Has Satan deluded the church? Is global political correctness silencing pastors, evangelists and church leaders from speaking truth? Has Apostasy arrived?

The bible says we'll know when "there is a great rebellion against God" (Signs of Apostasy 2 Thessalonians).

Are we now seeing this great rebellion? Sound doctrine is being replaced with "seeker sensitive" fables.

Some pastors simply take "Christian Principals" and offer self help advice in the form of a sermon, promising health, wealth and happiness to those who apply the principals to their lives.

Has the passion to know God subsided? Do followers of Jesus Christ have a true love for God, His teachings and His Kingdom?

Hosea 4:6-8 says "My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children. 7 The more priests there are, the more they sin against me. They have exchanged the glory of God for the shame of idols."

Is the soil primed for the false prophet to step up and lead the Apostate Church the bible warns us about? As always...
