Heavenly Signs and End Time Bible Prophecy

Heavenly signs are God's way of revealing himself to us. Psalm 19:1-3 reminds us: "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.2 Day after day they pour forth speech;night after night they display knowledge.3 There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard." The Bible throughout the Old and New Testament describe what heavenly signs we can expect to see as the end times approach. The ever expanding universe, the discovery of vast galaxies and the "spiritual forces in heavenly realms" all point to an active creator communicating with His creation. 
Hollywood depicts great asteroids crashing into Earth and killing multitudes of people. Around the world the numbers of people who believe in Aliens is ever increasing.Science is coming to the realization that space is expanding as a result of some sort of "intelligent design". Are there signs taking place in the heavens that point to the soon return of Jesus Christ? Can we clearly point to news reports that tell us something "different" is happening that points to the coming end of this age?
