Prophetic Look at Israel, Jews & Jerusalem

From the beginning Israel has been at the center of the worlds attention.
Going all the way to Genesis 16, when Ishmael was born to Abram, the Jewish people have been the target of immense hatred. Today, the Jewish homeland is still center stage as the nations seek to avert war and bring peace to the Middle East.
With Militant Islam setting its sights on the complete destruction of the Jewish State and the recapturing of Jerusalem, the world is on the cusp of significant prophetic fulfillment.
Russia, The European Union, The United Nations, and China will play a major role in the events that will lead to the 2nd Coming of Jesus. Israel will continue to be isolated to the point of breaking; with her dearest ally, The United States, drifting away from much needed support.
Will the peace efforts work? Or will there be a great War where only God can save the Jewish people from complete destruction?
