Jesus Simply Said "Go"

Right before ascending Jesus said "Go".

Often times I allow the enemy to convince me that I'm powerless.

I get down on myself because I don't read the bible enough, don't pray enough, don't do enough. I buy into the lies that I don't have what it takes to make a difference for the Kingdom.

I'm not one of those "Holy" people that seemingly say and do all the right things.

But here is how awesome God is: He uses simple things to remind me of exactly how powerful I can be for the Kingdom when I simply realize that Jesus has already won and rely on Him as the source of everything.

I was listening to a song and reading the words and it really hit home with me. Here's the chorus of the song:

Go, go, goGo, go, goYou hold the truth that saves so run and shout it to the world,they can't believe in something they ain't never heardso go.

When I heard that it was like God gave me a shot of adrenaline in my arm. It's amazing but true that I hold the truth that saves, the word of God. It's so awesome that God gives each one of us that power.

We just need to realize it's all about Jesus. We've been transformed by Jesus and He just wants us tell others about Him so they can be saved.

It couldn't get any simpler then that, yet the end result is the most powerful thing in existence....salvation through our savior Jesus Christ.

No matter how tough we have it, no matter how broken we are, we are always able to speak the name of Jesus. This is the one name that shatters Hell's gates and makes the enemy tremble.

There are a lot of people who have never heard the name of Jesus. There are many others who have heard the name but never seen the love of Jesus carried out by another person.

Jesus simply asks that we "go".
